Efficient bead mill for optimal chocolate processing

LIPP Mischtechnik has developed an energy-efficient agitator ball mill for medium to high viscosity, temperature-sensitive products. Based on the principle of the vertical ball mill, economic efficiency, availability, and resource conservation have been significantly improved. The IMPACTOR® series thus offers an interesting alternative with throughputs of 10 l/h – 1 m3/h in many sizes.

  • Crystal sugar-based chocolate: < 30 μm in the ECO2–Choc® process
  • Rework with chunky ingredients: Processing of a wide variety of chocolate masses
  • Hazelnut grinding: Fast and effective processing

Features

  • Grinding to ≤ 30 μm with narrow particle size distribution, also bimodal
  • Vertical design and shear pins on shaft and grinding chamber: optimal distribution of balls and product as well as uniform temperature distribution in the grinding chamber
  • Shaft cooling and shear pin function enable processing of even highly viscous masses
  • Hygienic, closed system for environmentally friendly production
  • Vertical design: easy filling and emptying of grinding balls by gravity for minimal cleaning and maintenance
