Did you know chocolate was once used as currency?

In ancient Aztec civilisation, cacao beans were so valuable they were used as money. Just one bean could buy a tomato — and 100 beans, a turkey. Cacao was even considered a gift from the gods, used in rituals and energising drinks for warriors.

Fast forward to today and chocolate continues to be a precious product, especially when it comes to meeting high production quality standards.

At LIPP Mischtechnik, we believe that excellence at every stage of the chocolate production process is essential.

On the photo, our mechanical specialist, Jürgen Scholl, is captured at site during the commissioning of a large-scale chocolate production system for a key client. After intensive days of mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning, the system is now ready for producing high volumes of semi-finished chocolate products.

We are proud to support our clients with reliable, high-performance solutions.
