Operation principle of TRIQUENCE® (patented)
Blades are placed on the tips and ends of ploughshare-like mixing elements. These sweep the zone where the adjacent elements are working.
In conventional mixer designs, the product is turned once only for each shaft rotation. Here it is turned three times.
What effect does this have?
As a result of the significantly more intense mixing of the material, the ingredients are sheared much more at the walls. This improves the dispersing effect of the mixer. The mixing effect is so intense that in many cases, where additional knife shear heads would otherwise be required, these can be omitted.
Additional advantages
TRIQUENCE® significantly increases heat transfer between the product and heated or cooled vessel wall surfaces. This has a very positive effect on heating, cooling, drying and reaction process times.
