Lab Conche
For development tasks there is the lab mixing conche IMC-E 10 with integrated heating/cooling unit for a capacity of 4 to 10 kg of chocolate mass. This robustly designed and easily cleanable machine has been consistently cultivated over the last years and offers optimum efficiency and machine safety.
The cantilever design machine with one-sided bearing of the mixing shaft and big inspection door allows for fast inspection and cleaning of the product contacted parts.
This is especially important for lab operation with frequent recipe changes.
The effects produced by this compact design are in accordance with the production size conches and so the development results can be transferred directly to the production machines.
The lab conche is characterized by the following features:
- Product contacting parts and heating/cooling jacket in stainless steel
- Inspection door opened from the side and secured by door locking device
- Drive through three-phase motor with frequency inverter for continuous adjustment of rotational speed
- Feeding through rectangular dome with heated wall
- Ventilation connection at the side of the dome to blow in air with a fan via an air filter
- Emptying with a piston valve free of dead space at the inspection door
- Temperature measurement with a resistance thermometer
- Heating/cooling unit with temperature control and switch cabinet integrated in the table. Optional port for data logging
- Control panel with all control gears and display instruments integrated in the foot of the machine
- Machine frame optionally on wheels
Further benefits:
Machine execution possible in vacuum design. The heating jacket can be heated alternatively to water with steam or thermal oil. On demand the machine is available also in other lab or pilot range sizes.
