Dear customers,
a new year has begun and we would like to take the opportunity to wish you a happy and successful year 2008.
Of course we will continue to inform you in detail about our products and new developments in process engineering.
We shall begin with our Lipp shear stream mixers, which allow a more efficient recycling of chocolate rework, filled pralinés or chocolate bars with nut, biscuit or wafer portions.
Two process variants:
For humid rework masses – with alcohol and water portions (particularly filled chocolates and caramel) a batchwise operating shear stream vacuum mixer is used.

Built-in rotor/stator shear heads with counter current suction effect (patented) each having its own drive and protruding into the mixing vessel crush the material (e.g. nuts, almonds, wafers, etc.), disperse and homogenize the material to be reworked.
The volatile components like water or alcohol are evaporated by applying vacuum and heating the mass to a specific temperature until the final moisture of < 1 % is reached. In a vacuum system with a condenser and a collecting tank the volatiles are condensed for further use or drained to the sewage system.

For rework without volatile components the continuously operating rotor/stator shear force mixer REFLECTOR® (patented) is ideally suited. The machine crushes and mixes the rework and produces a homogeneous paste within a few seconds, with usually no need for further treatment. Cocoa mass, chocolate or cocoa butter may be added to improve the flowability of the rework. These masses can also be processed in a batchwise working shear stream mixer which can be supplied in cantilever design and for better inspection and cleaning is equipped with completely opening front door. |

These high-performance multi functional mixers can be used also for other applications in the chocolate and sweets production – e. g. as pasters for chocolate masses before refiners, as conches for chocolate masses, for disintegrating and pasting of nuts or almonds and similar combined mixing, deagglomeration and drying processes.
