Newsletter 1/2007
Dear Customers,
A new year has begun and we would like to wish you good health and success
in all your endeavors for 2007.
We would like to take this opportunity to direct your attention to our completely
redesigned homepage. You can still find us at www.lippmischtechnik.de.
With the aid of images and animations we will be informing you more graphically and comprehensively than before about our products and their modes of operation, as well as about our services in the areas of mechanical and thermal process engineering, focusing on mixing, reacting, drying. If you have individual questions you will receive further information quickly and easily via our online contact form.
In the future, we want to introduce you to new developments and applications of our machines in a newsletter several times a year. We shall begin with our
LIPP Lab Conches
for development tasks in the chocolate industry, which we are offering in 3 sizes:
|
IMC-E 10 for 2-8 kg of chocolate The lab mixing conche in cantilever design with an inspection door on its front side offers invaluable advantages particularly for lab operation with frequent change of recipe. All product contacted parts can be reached comfortably, inspected closely and cleaned easily. Intensive mixing without gradients in concentration or temperature quickly leads to a homogenous product. Exceptional heat transfer allows introduction of very high specific shearing forces to disintegrate agglomerates, release the fat phase, coat the primary particles with fat and to disperse the emulsifiers in the chocolate mass. |

The operating principle and applications of this special execution with one-sided mixing shaft match those of conventional designs at production size.
Construction features:
Lab mixing conche also suitable for vacuum operation. All product contacted parts and the heating / cooling jacket in stainless steel no. 1.4541 (acc. to 304).
Horizontally aligned, cylindrical mixing drum with jacket for heating and cooling at up to 6 bar working overpressure. The drive side front wall bolted to the mixing cylinder. Opposite side with cleaning door, secured with swing bolts and electromagnetic safety interlock.
Exchangeable paddle mixing mechanism mounted one-sided and removable from the drive shaft. Shaft passage sealed with easily replaceable packing. Actuation through three-phase motor via gear box and with frequency inverter for continuous speed adjustment. Motor: 1,5 kW, 230 V, 50 Hz. Protection class: IP 54.
Loading from above through rectangular dome with heated wall in direction of mixing shaft direction. Secured through a hinged grid with electromagnetic safety interlock integrated in dome. Dome closed through a hinged flap secured with swing bolts. On side of dome one nozzle for air inlet, with fan with air filter.
Emptying through manually operated piston valve closing free of dead space attached to the cleaning door.
Temperature measurement with a resistance thermometer at the bottom of mixing drum; display built into the control panel.
Welded machine frame for set-up on lab bench.
Control panel with all command elements and display instruments integrated in base of machine:
- digital display of rpm and current consumption
- digital display of product temperature
- on/off-switch for mixing mechanism drive and fan
- continuous speed adjustment
- master switch and emergency-stop switch
